I really enjoyed Michelle and Jamie’s wedding at Quail Hollow. It was a beautiful day for their ceremony under the tent. Michelle and Jamie both live out of town so I didn’t have an  opportunity to get to know them before the wedding. They and their families are such wonderful people and they have surrounded themselves with great friends as well. It was a joy to work with everyone and I had a great time. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Courtney and Joe had an absolutely gorgeous wedding at LaMalfa in Mentor. Every detail was taken care of with the utmost of care. Their love for one another is quite evident and I wish them the best in their life together.

Rebecca and Christina from R. Rose and Company came to do the girls hair and makeup. They did a fantastic job, as usual, and the girls all looked beautiful.

I really enjoyed being a part of Jennifer and Steve’s wedding day. We started off at Jennifer’s parents’ house were she grew up and she got ready in her childhood bedroom.

Jennifer’s mom helped with the finishing touches of her beautiful wedding gown.

Their ceremony and reception was held at Andrus Party Center. Jennifer’s cousins sang for their ceremony, I thought that was a great personal touch.

I helped Andrew Jordan this past weekend shoot Alicia and Josh’s beautiful wedding at Stan Hewitt. We were able to avoid the rain and capture some beautiful moments.

I always like to watch the grooms play with their new wedding ring after the ceremony.

Last week I attended the Shoot with Beckstead Workshop, it was amazing. David Beckstead was named one of the top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World in 2007. His vision, his work, his art, is like no other. I had the great opportunity to watch him work and shoot along side him.

We started off at the historic Akron Civic Theater. It’s a gorgeous theater, if you ever have a chance to see a show there I recommend it.

Then we headed to Stan Hewitt. Its beautiful hall and gardens gave us many interesting places to shoot. The next two photos are my favorites from the day.

Then we traveled to the Arcade in downtown Cleveland for some night shooting.

It was late but we didn’t stop there, we headed outside to the streets of Cleveland and Public Square.

What an incredible experience, I learned so much. Thanks David Beckstead for sharing your vision! I can’t wait to apply what I learned at my next wedding.
