Seven cousins, some of their parents and a little doggie makes for an exciting photo shoot. A lot going on, but a lot of opportunity for some great photos.
When Amy, an old and dear friend asked me to do this I was just excited I was going to see her, it had been years since we’d seen each other. Plus I got to meet her darling daughter for the first time. She wasn’t sure how it was going to work, but she wanted to get all of kids together on her husband’s side for a family picture. It was crazy, but it was fun and it all worked out! I think we ended up with some wonderful images they’ll all be able to treasure for many years to come.

What a gorgeous evening and fun time I had with this bunch!
Amy it was great to see you, we’ll have to get together again next time you’re in town.

When Dana told me she wanted to have her family photo session by the covered bridge, I knew it would be the perfect place. It certainly was. Everyone had a good time turning over rocks and playing in the water while I captured great moments like this. The kids were so cooperative and I had a fun time watching all five of them play and interact with each other.

You might recognize Ashley. I took her senior pictures last summer. She’s officially done with high school now – congrats Ashley!

I really enjoyed working with this little one, Noah, who is about to celebrate his second birthday. He is such a darling little boy and has the most beautiful big blue eyes. I love capturing this age of wonder and curiosity, they grow up so quickly. Have a very happy second birthday Noah!

They live near a covered bridge which made for some really fun shots.

I love this moment.

I had no doubt this would be a fun session and it certainly was. The Cross family kept me entertained and I think they had a great time as well. A little park in Perry gave us a lot of great places to shoot.
