Last week I attended the Shoot with Beckstead Workshop, it was amazing. David Beckstead was named one of the top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World in 2007. His vision, his work, his art, is like no other. I had the great opportunity to watch him work and shoot along side him.

We started off at the historic Akron Civic Theater. It’s a gorgeous theater, if you ever have a chance to see a show there I recommend it.

Then we headed to Stan Hewitt. Its beautiful hall and gardens gave us many interesting places to shoot. The next two photos are my favorites from the day.

Then we traveled to the Arcade in downtown Cleveland for some night shooting.

It was late but we didn’t stop there, we headed outside to the streets of Cleveland and Public Square.

What an incredible experience, I learned so much. Thanks David Beckstead for sharing your vision! I can’t wait to apply what I learned at my next wedding.

I had a great time taking pictures of Lucas and his parents on Saturday. Lucas just turned one and has such a cute personality.  Here are some of my favorites.

Patty called me to see if I would take some pictures of her and her daughter Kristen for her husband for Father’s Day. We found a great location and had so much fun.

I just watched them together and tried to capture little moments that only a mother and daughter can share. 

I really enjoyed this session. You two are both such wonderful people!
